Overall Reflection:
I wanted to get in some scary reads for Halloween, which I was able to do, but I would have liked to get a few more in (always). The Accident Season and The Creeping were both somewhat of a letdown for me. I'm actually happy with the number of books I was able to get considering we went on our honeymoon and The Creeping put me in bit of a reading slump. I have high hopes for November!

Well, I was hoping to get a book or two more in this month, but with the wedding, the showers, and the bachelorette party, I'm glad to have read what I did...including a 600+ page book. Our honeymoon is in October, and there are a few birthdays and such coming up, but I am hopeful to get at least 5 in! How did you do in the month of September?

Once again, this was a slower reading month due to home renovations and moving. Good news! We are almost fully moved in! All of my furniture and stuff has been unpacked. Now we just have to get John's stuff out of storage. Now that things are winding down at the house, I'm hoping to get more reading, reviewing, and blogging done!

The month started out with some strong stories. However, I had a lot of 4 star reviews this month, which means I really enjoyed the books I read, but didn't love them. My reading tapered off towards the end of the month due to a lingering head cold. I spent a lot of time resting/sleeping, even when I would try to read. Here's to another great month of reading!

Well this has been a good start to the reading year! I've read at least a book a week, which is a great start towards my goal of 50 books this year. While I was slightly disappointed wtih Hollow City (Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children #2) by Ransom Riggs, Gathering Darkness (Falling Kingdoms #3) by Morgan Rhodes proved to be just as stellar as its predecessors. Here's to another great month of reading! :)
