Overall Reflection:
Well, I'm finally starting to pick my pace up a bit. We'll see how the month of August goes...I'm supposed to be moving...however that is dependent on a construction timeline. Going Vintage and In Too Deep were both great summer reads. Paper Valentine had some dark and ominous tones, and was a little bit of a let down coming from Yovanoff, in comparison to her other works. The Social Code proved to be engrossing and gripping tale. Can't wait for the sequel. All in all, a great month of reading.

Overall Reflection:
Well, another slow month in reading terms. I had a bit of a tough time transitioning out of school mode. I also had a large list of things to tackle...things I kept putting off to finish my final weeks of school. Surprisingly, Siege and Storm really put me in a reading funk. It was one of my highest anticipated books of 2013, and I was rather disappointed in it. The Summer I Became A Nerd was a light and fun read. I anticipate more reading and reviews for the month of July. Hope you all are enjoying the summer!

The month started out strong, but alas, school has taken over my life. On a positive note, all of the books I read (and finished) were amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better mix of books. Stick with me. The next two months are going to be even more brutal! Hopefully I'll be able to sneak a few books in. :)

Wow! Despite a heavy school load and working full time, I managed to squeeze in 7 books! Woo Hoo!!! It's really been a fabulous reading month! Each book was different and unique in its own right. I'd have to say the weakest of the bunch was The Fire Horse Girl by Kay Honeyman, though still enjoyable! My favorite was The Archived (The Archived #1) by Victoria Schwab, but I honestly enjoyed the entire list of books! Here's to another great month of reading ahead!

Favorite Read: Shades of Earth (Across the Universe #3)

Overall Reflection:
Not a shabby way to start 2013! I started this month (and year) out with an ARC of Pantomime by Laura Lam, which was a surprising jem of a book! Meant to Be by Lauren Morrill was a fun, romantic coming-of-age tale. The Dead and Buried by Kim Harrington had spooky undertones which gave me goosebumps. The Darkest Minds (The Darkest Minds #1) by Alexandra Bracken was a seriously dark dystopian novel that stuck with me for days. Shades of Earth (Across the Universe #3) by Beth Revis proved to be a satisfying finale to the Universe series. While I was hoping for a more whimsical tale, Vintage Veronica by Erica S. Perl proved to be a more serious coming-of-age tale. Overall, a great start to 2013!
