Most of these are places that I love and/or would like to visit. Some are the settings to some of my favorite books.
What literary settings would YOU like to visit?
Great list and lovely pictures! I wonder what a story at a vegtable market would be like?
ReplyDeleteI said Prague too, there's something so magical about it. I really want to visit again, trying to convince my BF that he wants to go too! Have you read Daughters of Smoke and Bone by Lani Taylor?
Yes! Daughter of Smoke and Bone was my inspiration for Prague! I am now intrigued and need more!
DeleteI think there could be a story behind a vegetable farm. Ten Miles Past Normal was my inspiration there!
Love your list! I'd like to read more set in places like Prague and Russia too. And there should definitely be more set in bookshops! :-D
ReplyDeleteMaking this list, I realized 2 things. 1. I like cold climates! 2. Food inspires me!!! :P
DeleteCan I travel along with you too ? I would love to visit those same places too :)
ReplyDeleteYes! Let's do it! :)
DeleteLove this list. I love shops too and I'm in Prague with City of Dark Magic and loving it.
ReplyDeleteThanks doll! :)
DeleteBookstores and bakeries, yum. And Translyvania and Russia - I loved Shadow and Bone soooo much!
ReplyDeleteHere's my list
DeleteYay! Canada! I love the Darkness Rising series, but it's not really a true representation of Canadian life...still comes across as kind of exotic. Your European locations are super cool, and of course the Southern US. Beautiful Creatures' setting is so gorgeous and amazingly described. Thanks for stopping by my blog :)
ReplyDeleteHahaha! I'll keep that in mind! I allllmost added Alaska too! :)
DeleteI agree about space! I love, love, love all things outer space!!!
ReplyDeleteI just finished Shades of Earth and am on this whole Space kick. I NEED MORE!!! Thanks for stopping by Steph! :)
DeleteI totally agree with the south! The Vincent Boys by Abbi Glines was a good book to use that setting well. I also would love to read a book set around a bakery, that sounds fun and yummy!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by My TTT
Ohhhh, I'll have to check out The Vincent Boys. Thanks for the rec! :)
DeleteWe actually have a few in common. lol I do like the idea of a music store. I can see a nice teen coming of age book with that one.
